Hobson & Porter, Innovation based on tradition

Hobson & Porter has committed to the WRAP Halving Waste to Landfill initiative.

This is a statement of intent as follows: We commit to playing our part in halving the amount of construction, demolition and excavation waste going to landfill by 2012. We will work to adopt and implement standards for good practice in reducing waste, recycling more, and increasing the use of recycled and recovered materials.

Over the forthcoming months our staff will be working with WRAP to identify and implement best practice solutions to deliver on the commitment we have made. We have also committed to Think Zero, an initiative that will assist us in engaging our whole supply chain in addressing sustainability issues.
