Hobson & Porter has been selected to construct a new applied learning centre for Archbishop Holgates School in York.

The new facility which will be named learningCentre@AHS, is designed by Hull architects Morgan Lloyd Jones and will include offices, applied science rooms, manufacturing and engineering rooms, ICT, business admin and media rooms, tv and video studio, library and private study area, cafeteria and first floor terrace. Work on the project will commence in October and will be completed in summer 2009.
