Hobson & Porter, Innovation based on tradition

Completed in 2006, Earls Court is a £3.5m office complex at Priory Park, Hessle. It was developed by local company Templedove Ltd. The design was formulated in conjunction with Gabbitas Gill Partnership, a multi-disciplinary consultants based at Priory Park, who had worked with Templedove Ltd on previous projects. The selection of Hobson & Porter as main contractor meant that the project was a local success all round, with a local client, consultants, main contractor and subcontractors. Hobson & Porter and Gabbitas Gill had also worked together on previous projects, and the retention of established teams resulted in excellent working relationships. Hobson & Porters Managing Director Dave Watson and GGP's Structural Engineer John Peyman both commented that the delivery of the finished project was an enjoyable experience throughout. Hobson & Porters Site Manager on Earls Court was Gary Easton.

The completed project comprises of a range of speculative high quality office buildings for sale and to let, extending to over 42,000 square feet in total, plus extensive car parking and landscaping.
